The main building of the Bernard Historical Museum was originally built in the early 1930's. It was operated by Dr. Prosper G. Bernard as a hospital and converted by him after his retirement into the present museum and opened to the public in May, 1963.

The Bernard Historical Society holds meetings the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Delton-Kellogg Middle School Library.
